Crutches 4 Kids is pleased to announce that is expanding its hospital recycling program to the HJD Center for Children at the Hospital for Joint Diseases, NYU Langone Medical Center. We have set up two drop-off locations at the hospital (3rd & 4th Floors) to collect gently used crutches, canes and folding walkers for children in underserved communities ravaged by war, natural disasters, or extreme poverty. Your donation can enable a child to attend school and be an active participant in family and communal life.
Join us in giving the gift of mobility, independence and hope to someone in need by donating your crutches and spreading the word about the recycling program. All sizes of crutches are welcome. Our collection bins are located on the 3rd and 4th Floors at 301 East 17th Street. You can also donate your crutches at other drop-off locations around NYC.
